Uflex Rotary Steering System

Packaged in a convenient kit form including helm, bezel and cable, this steering system is specially suited to replacement of existing or worn systems. It incorporates a planetary gear design in which three satellite gears each rotate on their axis while simultaneously rotating around a central helm gear. The result is even distribution of engine torque and a balanced energy load for smoother operation and increased longevity.
Available: 11, 12, 13, 14, 15 or 16 ft. cable length.

Old Bass Boat Steers Like New

Steering cable on my old boat was rusted and locked up tight. Four years out in the weather unused and uncovered will cause this. Ordered the Uflex rotary steering system. Never installed a steering system before but fugured I'd try it and if I got stuck, off I'd go to the expensive boat shop. Took me longer to get the old system out than to put the new Uflex system in. The instructions were simple, one page, with step by step, ez to follow - no kidding. New Uflex is tight, no play in it. Wheel is firm with no vibration. Like rack and pinion on a sports car. Thanks to Cabela's for this product. Now I am back on the water, love the steering system and saved a lot of money by doing this job myself.

This steering system was easy to install and it is an excellent product. Steering is so easy with this system, it's like power steering! I got prompt service from Cabelas too!
