The microprocessor-controlled Digital TrollMaster™ Pro 2 brings greater accuracy, reliability and convenience to your trolling arsenal. A redesigned flat control panel with touch-button switches provides throttle control of an auxiliary outboard from anywhere in the boat. Model has been updated and now features digital controls. It allows a momentary burst of full throttle for correcting your heading quickly or jumping to a desired spot. It adds 10 times the microadjustments in speed over the original TrollMaster Pro. Requires less than 2 amps for reduced battery load.

Awesome trolling tool

The trollmaster pro is a must have tool for every serious troller.I've had mine for 3+ years and not a single issue.Easy to install and helps keeps me on my target of 3 mph into the wind,with wind,and tight turns. Adjusts with a simple dial to tweak it up or down. Fish on,click the idle button to slow her down to net the hawgs!Click idle button again to resume your original speed. I just wish they made something like it rigged to place my kicker in and out of gear, LOL! This has saved a lot of jumping back and forth from stearing wheel to the kicker motor to constantly adjust the throttle handle. Set it and forget it.The best upgrade for my Lowe seanymph 165Fm.

Good but has flaws

Installed in 8HP Yamaha. Pretty easy to instrall. But the wires off the servo motor go right into the post you bolt the motor on. You have to really bend the wire to get them out of the way. I am an electrician and I know in a few years the insulation on those wires will wear through. So I hope it will be easy to get a replacement motor. And the mount for the controll unit is pretty chessy. I used adhesive velcro to attach it to my boat. Seems to hold good enough. Also the set screw on the collar that attaches to the throttle linkage was stripped so I had to fix that. Other than that it seem to operate great. Hope it holds up. Took about 4 hours to install.

Installation pretty easy once you get wire bent for your application. Installed on a 9.9 Yamaha and have used for a couple weeks. Idle switch is nice and seems to have plenty of speed ranges. Toss the cell phone clip that comes with it and get some industrial velcro patches to mount it where you want it. Works well on salmon and walleyes.

Works Great! Instructions could be better...

Installs without problems. Installed unit on 98 Honda 9.9hp. Instructions could be better written. Pictures for my installation unclear, although linkage attachment behind carburetor. After install, unit works great for idle and trolling speeds. Angle of servo arm installation incorrect. Care should be taken when using full throttle button. Servo and control module lacks full throttle limit setting. Servo moves so far for full throttle that servo linkage wire bends. Carburetor linkage will not move that far. This may happen with this particular model installation only. Each model has different installation proceedure.
