Auxiliary Motor Connector Rods

Control your kicker trolling motor and your main drive steering with these easy-to-install connector rods. Rod connects both motors via two quick-disconnect ball joints. Long-threaded ends allow you to cut the rods to the exact length you need to fit your boat and motors. Plated steel will not rust or corrode. Mounts on motor's cavitation plate or steering connectors (pictured). Rods are shipped straight but can be bent for custom applications. Mounting plate is included.

good connector rod

wiil I got a 175 optimax merc with a 9.9 merc this is a great connector rod and easy to put on put I had to make a part but it was easy to do. it took 1 1/2 hr to do all and drinking a lot of coffee to now I'm getting readey to go fishing

It really is the Best Purchase Ever

Needed a steering set up for my Kicker Motor to steer with my 50hp Honda. This was the best and cheapest option I could find. Installed it myself, wasnt bad at all. Id recommend this highly for all fisherman out there that want this motor combo for trolling.

Outboard connecting rods.

The connecting rods are fairly simple and convenient, but I will say that the price is a little steep. The rod does work well enough though, it makes steering easier when I'm trolling on Lake MI since autopilot is too expensive at this time.

Good connector rod and hardware

These rods are a great way to connect a trolling motor to your main engine. Same hardware as used on Panther's electro steer. No rust in freshwater. Good price. Check that the 24" rod is long enough for your setup.
