Durable and tough Stand-Up rods are made with the famous Howald Process™ and blank-through-handle construction for superior strength and sensitivity. EVA foam handles and graphite-reinforced reel seats with stainless steel hoods add durability. SU rods have AFTCO® roller guides and tip tops to reduce line wear.

I bought 2 of the 130 class rods and used them this summer with penn international 50 reels spooled with 80lb momoi. They have held up great. The rods are very strong. I caught about 8 blue sharks up to around 300+lbs and these rods kicked the sharks into submission quickly!
