Cabela's Soft Touch Flip-Up Armrests

Unlike conventional models, Cabela's flip-up design pivots quickly out of the way when not in use. Rugged aluminum brackets adjust to two different widths and fit all standard boat-seat hinges. Flip-up brackets are constructed of long-lasting, non-corroding aluminum. Pads are Soft Touch foam, constructed from the same material used in car and truck interiors. It is stronger than vinyl and will not fade due to sun and continued exposure. Colors to match any upholstery and trim. Per pair.
Colors: Blue, White, Gray, Burgundy, Tan, Navy and Green.

Way better than the other style

I added these to my big man seats in a Scott Hudson Bay Canoe we use to guide fisherman out of all summer in Northern Maine. These are well made and are 10X nicer than the ones that come up from the bottom that have a ton of lousy reviews on here because the are toooooooooo short.
These are just about right for height. Rugged and will last for years. As far as all the reviews on here that keep refering to the fact that you can "lean on these" to stand up from the seat . Well of course you cant if the seat back isnt locked in the upright position.................. the seat back just moves forward. The great thing about these is they just push up outta the way when you dont need them or need to walk past them. This is the better arm rest for your seats. Customers really love them and have had tons of compliments on them!

oxidized

the aluminum brackets were oxidized which did not really matter because I wanted to paint the alum anyway. I also welded the hinges on the seat so that it would not fold down.

I WASN'T TOO IMPRESSED AS USED ON A FOLDING SEAT. IF YOU BEAR DOWN TO MUCH PRESSURE ON THE ARM REST YOU ARE PULLING THE BACK OF THE SEAT FORWARD. IF YOUR SEAT DOES NOT FOLD THE PRODUCT WOULD WORK OK. I RECOMMEND THE ARM RESTS THAT MOUNT FROM THE BOTTOM OF THE SEAT. THE PRODUCT IS WELL MADE BUT DON'T USE IT ON FOLDING SEATS.
