Wood Bow Slat Sockets
Date:
I purchased these sockets and used them with the fiberglass bows that I used to hold my cover up over the winter. They worked out just fine and I have no problems with water or snow sagging my cover in and collecting.

Fibergalss Bows for Boat Covers
Date:
These fiberglass bows work very well for supporting boat covers. I had only one supporting the main part of my boat cover, and water pooled just ahead of the bow. I added another bow between the existing one and the base of the windshield sides. Problem solved! Be sure to be very careful when you cut it to length. Not much you can do if you cut it too short. Leave it a little long, test fit it into the pockets and cut it little at a time until you get the arc you want. Also be careful when you saw it off. If you don't support it and carefully cut all the way through, the fiberglass will tear back. If it tears a little, just finish the cut and then glue the fibers back to the bow with some CA glue.
