It won't fall over; it stores easily; and it raises from 38" to 63" with a base adjustment of 15" to 24". Its stable base prevents falling in inclement weather and eliminates time-consuming repositioning. Includes snap and pocket cap.
Great concept and design however cheap and weak aluminum and plastic make this product not worth the money or hassle. I purchased 3 tripods, 2 of which the plastic bottoms broke and the pole on the third one would not tighten and hold in place and bent easily. I would have probably given it great reviews if it were made of a stronger material.
What a piece of junk. Not worth the money-doesn't stay up at described. Did not twist up and stay up as described had to put a screw threw it just to keep it up.
I bought 2 for our pontoon boat cover. We live on a lake and we periodically receive high winds. These supports work great and we haven't had to crawl under the cover to reset the supports even once. I would highly recommend these supports.
This support pole is an improvement over Cabelas plastic one that falls over when trailering. Only issue is it needs a rounded top attachment included. It assumes you have a snap type cover which most people don't. I modified it and think it is complete now.
