Not too fast with these cords

Don't get the idea that 'poly cords' are a lifetime bungee. I bought 12 18 months ago. During the past 4 months, 7 of them have broken. They were simply under tension holding a boat cover on. The weak place appears to be the loop end, right where the loop and the main cord meet. Three, however, have simply broken in the cord body. They are nice bungees, but cheapers ones, replaced as needed, would probably be a more economical way to go. I am still waiting for the company that makes them to honor, their 'lifetime' warranty. If that doesn't work, I will see if Cabelas will replace them. Cabelas is the best outfit you will ever deal with and will back most all their products.

Best cord yet

We used the 12" black cords around the sharp corners of a boat anchor for 3 years before it broke. It sat in the sun all season with out any fading or problems. This cord bounced up and down holding that anchor for 3 yrs. When I think about it the other style bungee cord lasted less then a week. I bought the 4 pack I should be good now till 2020.

these poly cords are great. they stretch good and hold the cover down tight even ib strong wind weather. just be carefull as they smart when they they snap back.
