Attwood Portable Pump
Date:
What a shoulder saver. Had always used a portable hand pump, a very labor oriented task but this little pump does the job. It is submersible as advertised and pumps strongly, lifting water out of the bottom of my fishing boat quickly. It never clogged up either. I used it extensively over the last month with all the heavy rain we have had and I am still on the original 3 D-cell batteries.

Portable Pump
Date:
This pump worked alright, and pumped an adequate amount of water for it's size and use. The problem was, even buying the best batteries, they lasted less than a half hour - not the 5 hours noted in the packaging. although it still would be handy for places you couldn't use a larger pump, or had no electricity, financially a better decision was to buy an electric pump due to the high cost of replacing the batteries. I previously had another battery run pump, and it did work for hours. I was very disappointed.

Attwood pump

I use this product to pump the water out of a layout boat at the end of each day. It works very well. By adding a short lenght of old garden hose to the pump I can slide it down to the foot area. I'd recommend it to any layout hunter.
