Built of a 50/50 graphite-glass composite material, our super-strong Salt Striker Boat Spinning Rods are tough enough for tenacious fish like tarpon, dorado and tuna, yet excellent choices when your situation calls for the finesse of a spinning outfit. Each features aluminum-oxide guides and a gimbal butt with cap. Most models now feature Batson Enterprises® SS316 stainless guides. The lower carbon content of this stainless steel provides better corrosion resistance then standard stainless. These guide’s endured the rigorous ASTM B-177 salt spray test for 50 days without signs of corrosion. Inserts are hard aluminum oxide to withstand the abuse of saltwater fishing.
