Worth Anchormate® and Anchormate® II Sets

The Anchormate and Anchormate II will accommodate about 150 feet of 3/16" nylon rope (not included) and anchors up to 18 pounds. The bow fixture utilizes an exclusive lift-over arm which pulls the anchor into a horizontal position for a snug fit and reduced line tension. Anchor Reel and Bow Fixture Set are included. Rope not included.

The Standard Anchormate Set has a free-spooling reel that stops when the anchor hits bottom, or when you release the button. To reel in the anchor, simply crank the handle. Made from heavy-gauge steel. Roller is made of self-lubricating nylon. Line capacity of approximately 100 feet of 3/16" braided rope. Anchor Reel and Bow Mount Set. Rope not included.

I've owned my Anchormate II since 1978 and found this product to be a simple and handy way to keep that anchor and rope from under my feet.One fault with mine,the wooden handle knob split and fell off making for difficult operation.I repaired it ,BUT since the knob was not bolted on,putting a new one on was not easy,hence the 4 star rating.Keep reel lubed and replace anchor line before 33yrs of use(I lost my anchor yesterday 5/13/2011 and had to replace line and anchor).GREAT ACCESSORY,VERY HANDY,LOVE MINE.

i love my anchormates. they hold my boat in place, even in rough water. its nice to stay in my seat and drop and pull up my anchors without leaving my seat.

Bought these to replace exact old anchor reels on an old bass boat. They work well, you must keep them oiled or the release tends to stick. If the crank is mounted too close to the pulley the line does not wind evenly.

My first experience with the Anchor mate was decades ago when my father-in-law purchased a small 14' jon boat for fishing. The anchor mate worked so well as you could drop anchor quickly and retreive quickly. Years later the little boat was given to me and the original Anchormate had seen better days as the severe N.Y. winters took its toll.
The little Jon boat is completely restored along with the new Anchormate firmly perched in the same location. The bolt holes still lined up as with the original. The solid feel and quality components have not diminished cause its made in the good old USA. Only wish my father-in-law could still enjoy it.
