I like'em
Date:
these are good for walleye also give it a shot of fish attractant and wait for the fireworks. The 1/8 size is perfect for shollow and sometimes deeper "eyes" cause you can work it fast for searching and then slow it way down to clean up,but all the plastic fishes that go on it are destroyed and gone in one trip, but that's when I go for the gulp! alive 3" minnow

Mixed feelings
Date:
I use these baits mainly for stocked Trout at Lake Corona and Irvine in Southern Cal. I've caught a 19 lb Rainbow at Corona and 11 lb at Irvine. I recommend this lure as it does catch fish but my problem is the quality control of this product. I've lost many large fish because of the brittle snap that fastens line to blade. The other weak point, the metal surrounding the hole on the blade that the Jig eye attaches to is frail, fatigues quickly and the depth of the hole; the distance from blade end to hole; does not have enough or stronger metal there to last and placement differs from lure to lure. I personally inspect each snap and blade, I pass up many packages, before I commit to buying them. I've also changed out the snaps and find it inconvenient, the snaps that come with it often break just by trying to snap it back into place after it comes undone. I hope the Chatter bait people read this and correct these Quality control problems. Too many times I've hooked fish only to retrieve the snap or blade after they break. It happens not only with the Trout but the Crappie as well. INSPECT THOSE BLADES!!!

tiny but amazing
Date:
I just purchased this lure today hopping to put a couple nice bluegills on my frying pan. The third cast when i got a hit i set the hook and to my astonishment their was a 14'' crappie on the end of my line. i would of Gaven this lure 5 stars all the way but after that one fish the minnow started to rip in half. a quick fix with a little super glue and it looked like new.

I think this was a poor design. I could not get the bait to work correctly.
