I am fishing for pike with this lure.
In the original configuration I got a lot of hits but could not hook a fish. The first step was to remove the second hook and it was working way better.
I now use it with the single hook and a 9" Houdini Shad as trailer.
I guess the fish needs something to slurp it in.

This is a good looking lure and I gave it a good shot in a northern Ontario lake. The pike and musky were very active and hitting everything but I did not boat a fish with this lure. I think it would be better trolled in order to get the thing to really thump. The smaller version had more vibration, but didn't catch anything either. This on a week where I boated over a hundred northerns.

great lure

I didn't have problems with fishing it slow - was burning it at night for muskies. Puts off amazing vibraton, had 2 hits on 2 casts at one point. Caught my first ever ski on this bait as well
