Canyan .50
Date:
I bought this gun for my son last week. We took It to the range and It performed excellent. I shot at 100 yard target and it held a 1 inch group. Gun has a good balance and a very smooth trigger.

worth every penny
Date:
This is a great muzzleloader for the money I thought about giving it a 4 because the sights on it aren't that great but for the price and considering it comes ready to have a scope mounted I couldn't do it. Even with the sights being just a solid black first shot out of the box without any messing with windage or elevation was dead center of the bullseye at 25 yards moved to 100 yards and was dead center 1.5 inches above the bullseye which works for me that gives me about 150 yards shooting distance. I am shooting hornady 250 grain xtp sabots with 100 grains of pyrodex makes for a nice load without all the recoil. First string of shots at 100 yards were 4 shots in a 3 inch group with open sights.

Nice Little Rifle
Date:
This is a great little entry level gun.
No, it isn't the top of the line. In fact it's obviously the rock bottom of the line. It has no bells. And it has no whistles.
Honestly it reminds me of a Dodge slant 6 engine. Nothing fancy, but solid as Gilbraltar.
209 Primer only. Use sabots, not balls.

For the Money you can't beat this muzzleloader! Shoots great right out of the box. You can't go wrong with it.
