It's the BEST!!!!!

If your looking for a 50 caliber muzzle loader of any kind this is the one to get!!! Serious I'm impressed with this firearm. Even shooting magnum loads shoots great. Put a camo Bushnell XLT scope with camo ring base, looks great. Had lots of positive feedback from my friends who borrowed it.. Trust me get this gun!!!

209 primer finicky
Date:
All excited, ready to shoot my brand new triumph using Win.tripple7 primer & the darn rifle won't close.Double check everything, take out primer, snaps closed easily.
Rifle does not like Winchester primers, had to muscle it closed. Not good.
The trick:(since I'm cheap & don't want to toss 100 primers)I took my unloaded rifle & "preseated"each primer by firmly snapping the breech open/closed 2 to 3 times without locking trigger(you can actually see it closing the gap as primer seats). Then trigger group snaps in nicely.Pain in the butt to do 100x's,but primers fit now.
Checked the internet forums & a lot of guys use Remington primers no problemo.
The firing pin housing extends 1-2 mils in the breech(the part that mates against the primer lip)& does not like thick lipped primers.
Very accurate @ 50 yds out of box, sabots hard to load after 2nd shot,2 50gr,pelletsT777.
Another trick to figure out.

Love IT

This ML is awesome. Speed Breech is great. Warning: The triumphs have a tighter barrel than most other brands- it will load harder! This is also part of the reason why they shoot a lot better. If the groups are over 1 inch at 100 yards, its not the gun, you're a bad shot. I use the 300 grain Hornady SST with the red EZ Load sabots. These load fairly effortlessly. They shoot great too. Can't express how happy I am with this gun.

Triumph, leader in innovation and ease of use.
Date:
My Triumph is as easy to use as it is a pleasure to use. At first I will admit it was difficult to use a saboted bullet until I found the right combination. To all the reviews that I have read about how tight/ impossible it is to load, do not get discouraged. Harvester crush rib sabots are the answer! You will not get a second bullet to seat if you use a certain powder no matter what sabot you use but if you use Blackhorn 209 you will find the bullet/sabot combo will go down the barrel with little resistance. The Triumph is so easy to break down and clean. Definately worth the money.
