When I put this holster on and put my howdah pistol in it, I feel the security that it brings from its quality.
My pistol fits in so well and without hang up when I draw it out. The leather is heavy duty and tough to withstand all that you put it through in the brush. My pistol stays in the holster through dense woods and while trekking through hills in the back country. The ease to which the pistol pulls out the holster is so smooth that it feels like it was made to just slip into my hand when I needed it.
It doesn't get in my way and it is right at hand.
I've used it while hunting as a back up shot and I was not disappointed. I really felt the security when I had to draw out the Howdah pistol and take a shot and know I didn't even need to follow up on a second shot.
Its a great piece of equipment I couldn't do without. Its going to service me for many years to come. I recommend it with out hesitation.

I think I mixed up the review with the one for the holster, but they are both of excellent quality. I would recommend both to any one with a howdah pistol.
