Lyman Mag 20 Electric Furnace

Full 20-lb. capacity is ideal for all casting needs. Features easy-to-use bottom pour valve system and adjustable mold guide for single- or multiple-cavity mold use. Powerful 800-watt heating system minimizes "spout freeze", melts cold metal in 20 minutes and quickly brings replenished metal up to temperature. Durable industrial-grade thermostat with indicator light provides accurate repeatability and controlled temperature. Special warming shelf lets you pre-heat blocks. Made in USA.

I had to make some adjustments so I could use it with Do it molds. The tip takes a long time to get hot enough to start pouring lead. Lead sticks to the base and is hard to remove. It hold alot of lead and I can go a long time before I have to add some more, overhall I think it will work good in making fishing jigs.

I found that drops of lead stuck to the surface of the bottom plate. I attached an aluminum sheet to the surface to eliminate the problem. Perhaps the bottom plate should be made of smooth , unfinished aluminum.

big and the best yet

I like the melter pot shore is better than the last one that I had hold the heet better
and the size is also good, Keep up the good work and I would like to recemet it to all shooters.
