Lee Modern Target Design Minie Bullet Mold

Save money by molding your own minie balls. The Lee minie ball target molds have automatic core pins for fast casting. Mold body is crafted from aluminum with steel sprue cutters and wooden handles. This single cavity mold produces a semi-wadcutter type bullet. Made in USA.
Available: .50 caliber target/.500"; .58 caliber target/.575".

50 Minie Bullet Mold

I purchased this mold to enjoy my muzzle loaders more.
No patches,pre lube minies at home etc..
Mold was cleaned and preheated,2 bullets rejected due to poor fills,then every bullet was good.
Will test fire later in the fall.

This bullet mold works great. I'm a first time molder, and after about 10 blemished bullets I've turned out 50 or so decent rounds. The .58 has no trouble running them down range. The only trouble I've encountered has been user related (i.e. trigger jerk and casting bullets at too low a temp.)
