I was disappointed in the quality of this case. The "wood" is very cheap veneer panels. The inside of the case is very nice, but the top/outside of the case is not the quality I expect from Cabela's. This is honestly the first time I've opened a package from Cabela's and felt disappointed.
On another note, there was some damage (chips in the wood veneer) on the front of the case near the latch. It appears someone tried to color it in with a red sharpie.
I'm going to send this case back, and shop for something different somewhere else.

This is a very nicely made display case. I'm using it for an 1862 Navy pocket pistol and it fits in the case just fine. A larger pistol would also work well. All my accessories fit in there spaces too. The flask area is made for a smaller style pistol flask. Overall this is a very good display case and well make most collectors happy.

I ordered this for the reproduction Colt .44 Cal. 1860 Army Revolver, which fits fine but, the reproduction Colt .44 Cal. power flask will not fit in the compartment provided for it. Otherwise the case is attractive.

I bought it for a reconditioned 1851 Navy that my dad put together over 20 years ago. It looks and works GREAT! I would buy again.
