Ted Cash Ratcheting Nipple Wrench

Getting the nipple out of a firearm can sometimes be a tricky task. That’s why investing in a ratchet-style wrench can be a lifesaver. Simply ratchet the nipple on and flip the handle over to ratchet the nipple off. Stainless steel construction.

Uberti 1862 Pocket Navy .36 Cal.
Date:
Like the product after minor modifications. As per a previous review, the bit promptly fell out on the floor out of the package. This is a standard size, reversible bit driver that us useful with screwdriver tips or sockets. A little tape or paint will keep the bit seated in the driver. A handy little ratchet in any toolbox.
Tip for the Pocket Uberti: The nipple socket itself was too large in diameter for the Uberti Pocket Model Cylinder. I chucked the socket into a drill press and polished it with emery tape. It took a while, but soon the nipple would fit in the cylinder recesses. Now that the gun is clean, the nipple socket fits even better.

The right thing
Date:
I got the one for pistols. It worked perfect for my pistols, go figure. I have an Pietta 1858 Remington New Army and it fit just fine. I have Pietta 1851 Confederate Sherriff model in .44 and it fit just fine. It worked on my buddy's Ubertis Remington revolving carbine as well. Very robust and works great, not like some of the cheesy wrenches that break the first cylinder they touch. If you shoot black powder revolvers then this is the nipple wrench to purchase, just get the one marked "Revolver" and you'll be fine.

Nice little wrench.
Date:
It gives you a lot more leverage for those stuck nipples. Just make sure to keep it square on the nipple to avoid chipping the nipple or wrench. Don\u2019t ask me why I know. Ratcheting feature is nice and yes, the bit does fall out of the ratchet but not really an issue. Get one, you need it.

Nice Little Nipple Wrench!!
Date:
It worked perfect for my Lyman Cougar bolt action. The socket was kind of hard to remove at first, but a little bore butter on it after I got it loose and it switches over no problem. I would'nt recommend this item for a pistol or an otherwise tight fitting nipple space, the socket part if the wrench is kind of bulky and would not fit into a small area of a revolver's nipple breech.
