I have been very pleased with all my Cabela's purcheses and the sapre cylinder is no eaception. now I can get twice as dirty as before. I use my 1860 to shoot carp (fish) in a lake. Eliminating trash fish.

I had a fantastic experience with Cabela's, due to an oversight on my part I ordered the wrong pistol and called them once I received my package. It was 930 at night and had an answer from a live person in two rings. I told them my problem and that I was going to a Civil War Reenactment in 3 days and needed the correct pistol. Got it with a day to spare! Extraordinary Customer Service!!!!

Cylinder dropped in and worked right out of the box. I expected some fitting but none needed. I used the part on a CVA brand revolver (yes its that old) that has been out of service for over ten years. Just glad to have it functioning again. Fast shipping too, once the piece was in stock.

The fit, finish,and timing are excellent.The 1860 model pistol is not a quick change cylinder pistol.In the time it takes to change cylinders you could have loaded the pistol twice.If you need a spare cylinder I definitely suggest this item.
