Steiner's latest Predator, the new Predator Pro model, features Steiner's exclusive Color Adjusted Transmission (CAT) lens coating that enhances brown and red colors against foliated backgrounds, making game subjects "pop" from green foliated backgrounds. Includes an eyepiece rain guard and regular neck strap. Waterproof to 15 ft. The Sports Auto-Focus allows hunters to scan an entire landscape without having to readjust focus. It also can be faster in locating a game animal. Rubber armoring also has been re-engineered so it emits almost no noise during handling. The softer, quieter rubber is also more tactile in wet weather, and the forest green color blends with most camo patterns. With 18.5mm eye relief and soft, fold-down eyecups, eyeglass wearers will have no difficulty whether they choose to wear their glasses or not.
The 8x22 and 10x26 Predator Pro binoculars are great for difficult, big-game hunting and rugged outdoor use. The compact ultralightweight binoculars have strong aluminum housings with a specially designed, rugged armor covering that ensures a firm grip, and large center focus knob for operation even in cold, wet weather. These light-weight binoculars incorporate Steiner PC-5 coatings on every lens surface throughout the system. designed with this in mind. They weigh less than 10 oz., making them small enough to tuck away in a coat pocket for an afternoon or full week on the trail. The smooth and accurate center-focus knob can be manipulated efficiently even with gloves. The snug, wrap-around eyecups eliminate distracting sidelight while providing a comfortable buffer between the binoculars and their user. The 8x22 and 10x26 models have a neck strap and carrying case for easy travel. Now available in a 12x40 model. 10x40 model includes attached objective lens cap.
