Minox BV II BR Compact Binoculars

    • Sturdy aluminum body
    • Waterproof and fogproof
    • Multicoated lenses for stunning images
These waterproof, compact binoculars will serve as a valuable companion when lightweight baggage is required – or any other travel situation that mandates a compact size. Thanks to the modern system by the German optics specialist Schott AG, they guarantee high-image contrast and excellent detail rendition. All glass and air surfaces are multicoated for maximum light transmission and stunning image brilliance. The sturdy aluminum body protects from dust and water. In fact, if dropped, the binoculars withstand moisture when immersed in water down to 3 meters. Nitrogen filling ensures permanent protection against corrosion and prevents fogging of the glass surfaces on the inside. Extended eye relief is ideal for eyeglass wearers. The adjustable central-joint mechanism allows individual adjustment of the objective lens distance. Aluminum body with nonslip rubber armor for a safe hold. Includes a nylon strap and case. Adjustable twist-up eyecups. Imported.

Quality that fits in your pocket
Date:
I purchased a pair of these nice little guys last year on sale in 10x25 power. I hate using binoculars to hunt with in general but these I use all the time. I got a small pair of bushnells as a gift a few years ago in the same power range they broke the second season I used them. These for their small size are very clear and brite. The image is obscured , blurry around the edges it wont matter when counting points as they will be in focus. They like every bino will get condesation of you hold them in your hot hands on a cold day. That is not the bino's fault , thats just physics. The blurry edges, is the only deduction in them. I rate them a 9 on a one to 10 scale. Light , handy and sharp enough to skin a fish with, but don't cause fish smell is hard to get out of the metal (yes that was a joke you can laugh now).

Impressive value
Date:
I have a pair of higher priced Minox binocs that I really love but I was looking for a good hunting binoc that was light, WP and not bulky. WOW what a find. I almost overlooked Minox because of their usual price range. However, they packed a lot of quality in this little binoc at a low price. They work great for eyeglass wearers also. Been hunting with them and they are a joy to carry and use one handed. Sure wish they had provided rainguard covers for the ocular lens, but for the price, I really can't complain. Quake bushwhacker #3 covers work on all four lens.
Hunters, travelers etc will be very pleased with this binoc.
