Great compact glasses
Date:
I needed something small to hang from my HSS vest while in my tree stand. These glasses really did the trick. They are light, bright and easy to use. I recommend them for any bow hunter.

Quality Compacts
Date:
These are well made and have excellent optics. Sharp and clear for such a small binocular. I followed another reviewer's advice and sprung for these Alaskan Guide instead of the cheaper compacts. I'm glad I did. Wish the lens covers were attached though. I'm getting older and my hunting bag is getting heavier. These light weight binoculars are great !!!

Perfect for light packing
Date:
We bought two pair of these binoculars to use on a air/land/cruise to Alaska as we wanted to pack light. We also ride in the canyons & mountains of Utah & CO in a Polairs RZR and needed something small replacing larger, heavier binoculars. At 75 yrs. our eyesight could be a problem, but not with these. They are great. They even fit right into my camera bag.
Thanks to our sales person at the Cabelas store in Grand Junction for patiently helping us choose the right ones for us.

Great backup binos
Date:
My main binos are Swarovski full size binos that are very fine and very expensive. I wanted a smaller pair that were high quality but not near as expensive. I wanted this pair for situations where glassing would not be a primary activity, or where I would have to leave my binos in a vehicle or elsewhere where theft is a possibility, or where more compact binos were a significant advantage. These Compact Alaskan Guide binos fit the bill very nicely. They are not as good as my Swarovski binos but at a fraction of the cost and because of the compact size I did not expect them to be. Under most viewing conditions they are clear and bright. For most of the situations where I use them they are more than adequate. They are significantly better than an older pair of compact binos that I have had for years. I am pleased with this purchase and feel that for the money they are a great buy..
