I bought these binos at the beginning of hunting season. the were the best pair i bought, ever. they are water proof, fog proof and the coating is rubber. they are a nice pair of binoculars and i would recomend the. p.s. if your going to buy them and you live close to a cabelas, buy them at the cabelas so you can test them yourself.

after driving 100 miles to my local store and back home, i then tested this pair....... shame on me !! it has double vision very badly. otherwise they seem great for the price. i tried a shelf model at the store, and they were awesome, so i was let down when i got home.
luckily, Cabelas has offered to stand by their products, and made it worth my while for driving back down tomorrow.
i would not order these online, however if you go into the store and find a set that works well, i think you would be happy.

Great Bino's. I have no problems with the view through them. Make sure you roll out the eye pieces all the way and everything is good. The caps that protect the ends are my only complaint. They are hard to put back in place and one of mine did fall off already after snagging it on some brush. I don't think its a big deal though myself and still think the overall quality of the binos are great for the money. They are going to be a main stay in my gear bag.
