Have used these several times deer hunting since getting them for Christmas. Good for the price. Ya they probably are not the best but they are the best for the price.

Not sure what the last few guys were doing, but I have put these binos through a lot and they have not failed yet. They are used for deer, turkey, scouting and then some. I hunt a lot ,and in whatever conditions may be present. These have worked through rain, snow, dirt, mud and anything else. The focus is good, they resist scratching well and they really capture the light. I have looked through the higher end stuff, and yes they are brighter in low light, but shooting hours only last so long and these get me easily past legal shooting light and then some. Why spend double what these cost for something that isn't going to gain you anything?

I purchased the Bushnell Buckhorn binoculars for my son who was just starting to hunt last fall. The second Blacktail hunt of his short life was in a typical Oregon rain storm. The Bushnell's immediately fogged and got water inside them. His weekend was a huge disappointment. He had to rely on his buddy's binoculars to spot deer in the open for him. Never again. My praises to Cabelas Customer Service though, they came through and I was able to replace the Buckhorn with a beautiful set of Leupold Mojave binoculars! Thanks Cabelas!

They are not a bad pair of binos, but they arent really that good either. Sharpness isnt really very good. i have had them for about 3 years now, and keep wanting to get the Nikon Monarchs but I needed some other expensive gear first. If you wont use them very much you might like them, but if your an avid hunter like myself i suggest you buy something else. Now that i have my new scope and rangefinder and badlands pack, next on the list is the Monarchs.
