With its variable 3-9X magnification and 40mm objective, this model is ideal for a wide range of hunting applications from river bottom whitetails to open country antelope. This scope is even more forgiving for eye position and is shorter, lighter and even stronger than the original. Premium fully multicoated lenses deliver a light transmission calculation of 95%. The magnification ring and eyepiece have been made into one solid unit requiring only two seals rather than three. Changing magnification is as easy as turning the eye-piece. Like the originals, it has a one-piece main tube and eyepiece with the steel-on-steel adjustment system. The European-style diopter system is easy to use and requires no locking mechanism.
