Cabela's Solarskin™ Adjustable 4-Bow Bimini Top – 54"

Our 4-Bow Bimini Top design allows for even more support and greater coverage for your boat. These redesigned 54" high, 8' long, 4-Bow Bimini tops include stainless steel fittings and heavy-walled tubing plus a fully adjustable frame to accommodate a variety of beam widths. Tops adjust to fit beam widths from 70" to 106" wide. Frames are 7/8" anodized aluminum. Tops are made of UV- and mildew resistant, 600-denier Solarskin™. Matching top storage boot included.

After being scorched by the sun on my boat for the past few years, I finally broke down to purchase a bimini top. I researched approximately five different manufacturers, looking at the price, warranty and quality. Cabela's had the best overall deal. I installed the cover on my boat during a nasty 50 MPH wind storm and I was impressed how it withstood. The day after, I took the boat out for our fishing season opener and the top did its job as well as look good...

Not what we expected

We owned this product for 1 boat trip. The top is rated to 60 MPH. Our maximum speed was 28 MPH and the straps would not stay tight, the top kept coming loose. After only one trip out with the top, the aluminum poll snapped cause the straps let loose.
I believe in order for this top to be considered PREMIUM, a modification to the straps is needed so they stay right where you adjust them too.

Great buy for the buck $; easy to install, perfect coverage for my boat. Adjust forward and backwards to achieve the perfect angle to block the sun\u2019s rays. Boot cover fits great, not to tight; do not have to struggle to close zipper. Holds up good while motoring!
