Attwood Sahara Automatic Bilge Pumps

A permanent-magnet motor combines with a stainless steel shaft and steel-reinforced seal for powerful, reliable performance. Each measures a compact 4" x 5-1/2" x 3-1/4" and includes 29" of 16-gauge tinned copper wire. Wire is caulked to prevent water from wicking through insulation jacket. Mercury free. Automatic switch. Three-year warranty.

On automatic the float does not cause the contact switch to activate until you shake it. My boat swamped during the night because of this. The bilge was clean and there were no obstructions that would cause this except for defective engineering. I took it out and bought a different brand.

excellent product

I had bought this pump 4 years ago use in my bass boat. The boat remains in the water 6 months of the year. Pump works great and have never had it fail. The built in auto pump feature takes less space and has yet to fail. Dont know many pumps that still work great after 4 years never letting me down. Cant say enough about this great product.
No I dont work for the manufacturer but just a happy consumer
