A lost fawn is an easy meal for hungry predators. Realistic, wind-activated body and tail bring them in close. To simulate a bedded fawn, use without stake. Flexible for transport.
On several occasions I have had many bucks come up onto my decoy and given me many perfect shots. There have been other times where hunters have shot my decoy. This is just a must have, so long as you can put up with the people that shoot at it. :)
This product is easy to pack, lightweight and realistic. I used this decoy in the fawning season with a distress call to try to call in coyotes. The first time I used it I called in 4 does, they all had a brief staredown with the decoy, and a bobcat that stalked to within 25 yards of the decoy and then sat down and watched for several minutes before leaving, plenty of time to shoot had it been season. I have used it one more time and called in 2 does, can't wait to try it in early bow season.
I have take this decoy to the field three times and called on yote in for a shot, BUT all three times I called deer withing bow range! I can't wait till bow season to try it!
I was surprised how small the decoy is when it arrived. I was expecting a larger size decoy. The rendering is good and it might work for predators. I have not tryed it yet and will this fall earlier season for deer on Coyote.
