Mimic the realistic sounds of two bucks locked in mortal combat. Produces great volume to bring in bucks from afar.
Convenient to carry. No more bruised knuckles.
I was out bow-hunting just thinking i should get one last hunt in before gun season starts and the bucks go nocturnal. So im in my stand and for not even 10-15 min and i look up and see the slightest movement in the brush about 50 yards away. so i use my binoculars and look and its this big 7 point that i've been hunting for 3 years and this makes the second time ive seen him. long story short i tried to rattle him in with the Knight & Hale Pack Rack, bleat him in with Primos eCan, and grunt him in with Primos Buck ROAR. absolutely nothing worked. so i just gave up to wait for him to walk off with the doe he had with him. Then i see movement in my neighbors pasture. So i get my binos again just thinking its the fawns that are always there and hear comes a mature 8 point SPRINTING towards me. hes wheezing and grunting, the whole works. he runs right up, presents a shot and now hes in my rack pile. The big picture is the Pack Rack helped me score a big buck that i didnt even know was their, and yet it drew it in to me.
Have used this product for 2 years and have rattled deer up several times. Is worth the money. Small and compact makes it easy to transport to hunting area
i think its a great concept but it sounds like plastic. I think with a little more work they could have produced a much better sound. Easy to carry but thats not what matters most!!
In general I have had more success calling deer vs. rattling, and nothing beats a set of real antlers, but this is a lighweight, compact system that doesn't take up a lot of space in my pack and sounds as realistic as any of the bags or synthetic antlers I have heard.
