Remove rear portion of the frame to convert it into a compact front rest.

shooting stand

I bought this rest for sighting in my guns. I would say it's a good rest for the money, it works well on all my guns but if your trying to sight in a gun like a AR15 with a 25 to 30 round clip the front rest doesn't go high enough so I used a smaller clip like 10 to 15 round clips. I like the weight being made of plastic it is easy to carry around..

This rest works OK. I lost the rear stock pad after the first use, my fault. I also noticed that when the rest is adjusted for a shorter gun that the length adjustment slips back so that you have to re-adjust it, making it harder to sight in a rifle.
You will use more ammunition in my opinion, spend the extra money and buy something that is a better quality gun rest. I have used a heavier duty product which only took three shots on the first gun and two shots on the second gun to get it sighted in.

Pleasantly Surprised
Date:
Was going to get something else more expensive, but when I saw this on sale I couldn't pass it up. To my delight it has worked better than expected for the price. Great for trying out new loads. Very flexible (2 rests instead of 1) to work for rifle and pistol. Easy to carry & set up, a storage tray that is great for earplugs etc., has several small recessed trays built into the body to hold bullets or empty casings etc. while you shoot. Could have been a little heavier to help it from moving around from shot to shot, but overall works great, for the money it can't be beat.

Great rest for the price

Really a good buy. Stable...good adjustability...light weight.
The spring for the front elevation adjustment is a piece of junk and interferes with the adjustment gears. I removed it and added a plastic cap to the end of the screw to hold the front rest tightly in place.
Works great now!
