Flambeau® 2059 7-Tray Hip Roof Box with ZeRust

Rugged protection that only a hard box can deliver. Seven fold-down trays are divisible for a customized layout, and there's deep well storage for bulky items. The lid and handle locking system keeps contents from spilling if left open. And the lid has deep exterior drink holders. Flambeau's patented ZeRust polymer emits a harmless, odorless vapor which fills the inside of the tackle box to form a protective layer around your lures and other terminal tackle. Simply shake excess water and moisture off your lures before returning them to a ZeRust plastic box and enjoy years of hassle-free, long-lasting corrosion protection. Made in USA.

Well Appointed Tackle Box
Date:
The Flambeau tackle box is well designed. There is more than enough space to accomodate and separate both my fresh and saltwater tackle. I was surprised to find the embedded cup holders on the lid to come in very handy. Overall a good purchase.

best lure orginizer

old tackle box did not have the compartments for my lures not to get all tangled up. also had the tendency to tip over when open! Flambeau 2059 eliminates these problems !!

VERY well designed!
Date:
First, the only two drawbacks in my opinion; it's not waterproof and it can't make a sandwich.
When it comes to everything else, it's definitely a diamond in the rough. What separates this box from the rest is the fact that almost every square inch is usable because of how well it was designed, making it very efficient and able to hold far more than it appears at first glance. I can actually fit two 360s, a fly box, plus lots of extra spools, line, and tools in the bottom. On top of that it is very sturdy, from the structure itself to the hinges, trays, handle, and simple but effective side closures. Your tackle is all visible and 100% accessible with customizable storage spots of nearly every size imaginable.
Another huge and oft overlooked bonus; while closed, I have dropped this box upside-down a hundred times and almost every piece of tackle stays in place when righted. No more cluttered nightmares! (By the way, it was my fault...the box itself is quite stable, even when splayed fully open, fully loaded.)
I purchased the "non-Zerust" version of this box roughly two years ago and it is solely responsible for my decision to get rid of and stop using the modular 360 and 370 "box-boxes" altogether. After purchasing and using, I wondered why I ever switched away from a "trayed" box in the first place (though to be fair, few if any are this well designed). I now carry everything but the rarely used tools and my soft baits in this box. No more spending tons of cash on seemingly hundreds of small, flat, modular plastic boxes and then buying a bigger, more expensive box for all of your expensive boxes!
Bottom line: Buy with the utmost confidence that your money is being well spent.
