We bought the whole Down by the River bedroom accessories with our income tax money last spring. Our bedroom is absolutely georgeous now. However there are stiching lines on the comforter that are very noticeable. I had thought the stiching would be on the underside of the comforter.
After looking for months for a twin size hunting comforter set, I found this one at Cabelas. I ordered it for my sons bedroom. It was perfect the day I got it but, it went down hill from there. I have issues with the polyfil. It bunches up after a few uses and looks like a big lump pile on the bed. You can not straighten out any of the lumps/bumps and it seems to be getting worse. It is awful looking on the bed. I am going to try to take it and get the lining taken out and replaced. I paid to much for it to throw out.
The comforter was beautiful and comfortable; however, upon washing, as is noted here, it bunched up completely and I don't know whether I can even salvage it at this point. What is the point of having bedding if you can't even wash it? Nice that the tag says you can machine wash it too. Horrible.
