An outstanding product when used properly

If you are a really good largemouth bass angler, savvy about bass habits and locations, and if soft plastic presentations are often important to you, then make sure to try MegaStrike. It's not a "fish attractant" that weekend angler scan apply to a crankbait or spinnerbait and start catching bass. Nothing is. But for good anglers who know where and how to make largemouth bass take soft plastics, MegaStrike will trigger them to retain the lure and will very significantly delay the time between the strike and expulsion of the lure. In fact, you must be careful not to delay the hook strike too long or bass will swim off with and swallow lures with tMegaStrike on them. It does not stink up you hands either, and if you smear a thin film on a soft bait, it will be effective for 15 minutes before you need to apply more (or after you land each bass on a given bait). I have used all the well-known products in this class, and MegaStrike outclasses them all. Don't let negative reviews cause you to miss out on a real aid to landing more of the bass that you make strike soft plastic offerings. And as for smallmouth bass... it is true that these aggressive bass are less affected by lure retention stimulants than are largemouth bass. Smallmouth on a rampage will grab and swallow bait until they are ready to burst... I have had 50 smallmouth days for a week on good waters and didn't need MegaStrike. For largemouth bass, though, MegaStrike is very helpful to a good angler.

DOES NOT WORK!!!!!

I've applied Mega Strike many times on either favorite & less favorite lures for large & smallmouth bass. Results were very disappointing. Overall, I've gotten better results without Mega Strike. Real test should be on lures of less favorable to prove it's effectiveness of attracting fish!!!

I've used this product here in the NE for years in salt and fresh water. It works great for me and I won't fish without it. Tried other brands, but they don't work nearly as well.

Just doesn't work

I tried this product because a fellow fisherman recommended it. I tried it on small mouth bass and got no diffrerence in my success.
