fake waxies

we were catching some fish on just about everything so i decided to try a magic preserved bait that is made from real fish food.
I hooked one of those pieces of gummy rubber on a gill pill.
that is the only rod that completely stopped any movement at all.
the spring bobber never even wiggled.
there was other baits with in 2 feet that were producing well with real waxies, garlic waxies, red worms and even bare but not the fake ones.
