Fun bait to fish
Date:
Swimming a jig was a new technique that I had never used before so I figured I would try it out. I caught the biggest bass I have yet to catch in a very small nearby lake fishing from the bank in a dense brush pile. This is the extent of my use for this bait, but I imagine it would be just as good or better than a spinnerbait in most situations. If you have never fished a swimming jig, I have to encourage you to try it out. It will be a nice addition to your tackle box and it's fun to fish.

Best swim jig yet!
Date:
This is a great swim jig, not only can you use this with just the jig itself, but with a trailer as well. For my trailer I throw either a craw with a lot of action, a large curly grub, or a paddle tail. Big bass can't resist it! I have just started to use a swim jig, and caught ten bass in an hour using this technique!

Best Swim Jig I've Fished
Date:
Great jig for large and smallmouth bass. I use a 5" twister tail grub in shallow water and a paddle tail minnow for deeper water (as a trailer). Fishes the same as a spinnerbait. Can be fished fast or slow rolled near the bottom. Trails very nice in the water. The only reason it doesn't get five stars is because the trailer retainer could be better. The wire they use tears trailers pretty quickly. Overall a great product!

Great lure
Date:
I bought the bluegill pattern last year and have been using it ever since. I put a curly tail grub on it as a trailer. I love the patterns on these jigs. They are fun to fish and have a great look in the water. My one concern with mine is that one of its eyes fell off. I don't know if it happens often or not. But i still like it, and just ordered two more the other day.
