Jig rolls forward into a natural position when paused
Advanced Skirt Forward Technology makes it look natural
Lead-free construction
Patent-pending flaring disc and skid plate cause the jig to roll forward in a natural stand-up position every time the jig is paused. The Advanced Skirt Forward Technology conceals jig components and makes it look more natural. It’s made of tin so it’s lead-free. Virtually invisible fluorocarbon Weedguard™. Recessed hook eye. Per two. Sizes:
Used these jigs both in Florida and on Fox Lake Illinois. Caught some really nice bass. Works well with plastic crayfish. Lure works just like on the adds.
I don't know why they call this a "heavy cover" jig. This is worthless when fished around wood. The design of the head is horrible for wood cover. Although, I've caught a lot of fish on this jig when not around wood. I have a lot of these and I have confidence in them, but expect to lose a lot of 5 dollar jigs if you want to fish in wood cover(where the fish are)
I have been fascinated with the Megastrike Evoution jigs, since I discovered them. I guess winning an Icast award might have done the trick, but I was amazed at the design of them.
I only use the heavy cover ones in 1/2 & 3/8, and usually the green pumpkin, PB&J, and Halloween (YUM craw papi's match the Halloween for a wicked color combo, and has landed me more bass than the other colors...even green pumpkin!)
They really do land flat, have a clear fluoro weedguard, double barbed bait holder, and keep the plastic craws upright...bounce it, flip it, or dead stick it and twitch it. It just works!
I have lost many in the timber, but keep buying them as a confidence booster, and bass catcher for me.
I don't mond that they are tin, but see the new Evolution 2 is lead, to keep make it cheaper...that's sad, because these have an awesome fall rate. I guess it's another option, but I'll stick with tin.
