GOTTA LOVE SWIMING THIS JIG

I love swimming a jig with a curly tailed grub as a trailer and this one is one of the better ones I've tried. The head design 'pushes' weeds to the side and helps to keep it high in the water column despite it's weight. The only knock I could give it is the stiff weed guard that it comes with. Unless you're fishing wood cover, it's like overkill.Tthe easy remedy was to fan out the bristles, but I guess you could just trim off a couple of strands.
