By cutting the cocoon of the silkworm and spinning the fibers into a heavier-weight yarn, we have increased the thickness of our silk crew tops substantially. This heavier-weight fabric retains all the soft, moisture-wicking properties of silk while adding extra warmth for the coldest days of winter. And just like our filament silk, spun silk retains its shape, drapes well and hugs the skin for superior comfort in a layering system. The long-sleeve Crew has ribbed cuffs and neck. Machine washable. Imported.

This is the most comfortable sweater for me. I usually do not tolerate wool next to my skin anywhere, however this sweater is most comfortable and is not a problem. I love it. In fact I bought another one!
