Archangel™ 10/22 Standard Rifle System

Turn a standard Ruger® 10/22® rifle (sold separately) into a battle-ready Archangel™. The Advanced Rimfire System (ARS) is built using proven mil-spec polymers. Mount modern accessories on your Archangel. Its upper receiver has a Picatinny rail for mounting optics. The free-floating handguard has Picatinny rails top and bottom. Built-in storage in the pistol grip and in the six-position Archangel combat stock extension tube. A muzzle device completes the system with a Picatinny rail and bayonet lug. CNC-machined-aluminum tactical magazine release is included, a $25 value. Use with standard 10/22 barrels only.

Now it's an Angel

I bought a used Ruger 1022 used, gun was ok to shoot but it didn't look like anything, so I looked at a lot of options for what to do with it, When I saw the Angel I was sold.
Now it's my favorite 22 to shoot. The instructions are fairly easy to follow, BUT if your not able to bild a swing set for your kids you may want to have someone help with the asembly.
Now when I'm at the range guys can't help but stare at the Angel. I bought a couple of 25 round clips, added a Red dot scope. It's all fun now. Love it...

I purchase this after seeing my buddies composite replacement stock from a different company. I came across this Archangel 10/22 stock so went with this. It looks good put together even better then the listing picture but once it was together I noticed that the stock had a slight bow to it which was noticeable where the barrel comes out as it wasn't centered. I then notice the pictures on the net have this also and not a big deal and really it's hardly noticeable. The problem is the front floating forend as I could easily flex the front of the stocks forend in any direction separate from the barrel. Not good if you plan on mounting a front sight or laser on the rails as the alignment could change by just resting the 10/22 on it or even going from hot vs cold weather. Also this was a problem when I attached a front hand grip as I could flex the front stock forend area even more. So I checked the 3 Allen bolts that attach the forend section and all was good so to fix this I used some T6 .065 plate and added sides to the stock helping connect the 2 parts and now no more flexing. I Also didn't like or care for the front sight mussel and Im not purchasing a Bull Barrel just yet so to make the stock barrel look better I cut down the Archangel sight/mussel just beyond at the fake nut making it only about a 1-1/2" long and it covers the Rugers sight which is no longer used. Looks nice now and gives the stock barrel a better looking fit with the tactical look I wanted. Even though I had to do some mods so I would be satisfied it's a good replacement stock and looks meaner/badder then my buddies other composite stock. I recommend mounting lasers as close to the receivers case as possible on the forend so they will stay aligned better as even with no mods it will have alot less issues and stay better set.

awesome rifle

Gives the rifle an amazing new feel at a very reasonable price. It fit like a glove with no grinding/pounding, but did require some oven work. I love it!
