This barrel is a great product that is a credit to both T/C and Cabela's. The finish and workmanship is excellent., and the barrel fit perfectly on my Pro Hunter frame. Accuracy was good w/ factory loads. Now to find the time to sit down and find the hand load that the barrel likes the best.

Needed a great barrel for elk hunting and the Encore system gave me exactly what I was looking for. Easy on, easy to clean, and the fiber optics were just what I needed for the Colorado muzzleloading season.

The Thompson Encore barrel that I purchased is the most fun to shot and the accuracy is top notch. The last time I went to the range I took several guns but had so much fun with the 204 that I did not shoot any of the other guns that I took.
