Turkey Choke

Excellent product. This choke delivers the goods. I dropped a 22lb, 4-5 year old Tom yesterday at 40 yards with #5's. Kudos to HS Strut and Cabelas for such a fine product at a tremendous price.

Great value, OK patterns

I shoot a Stoeger m2000. It has a tight .725 bore, 24" bbl, and adj. open sights. This choke is a .675. I believe the porting to be worthless at reducing recoil, but you will notice that after shooting a half dozen shells, there is some plastic wad buildup on the edge of the holes, indicating a wad-slowing effect to help separate it cleanly from the shot. It kind-of "cheese-graters" the wad, and the more you shoot, the more it works and patterns get more evenly dispersed. I was shooting 1.75oz, #5 plated lead @ 1300fps (rem). At 35 yds. it delivered an average of 30% on a 14" diameter circle. I did not test a High Density load. I have a Primos Tightwad that outperformed this one. With its .675 choke the Undertaker should be good for larger lead shot (#2 or BB are largest I can legally use) for predator hunts. With this load and pattern, I would not shoot past 40 yds.

worth every penny

if you are buying this you should have a wonderful season. I killed a 21 pound tom with this. Its the cheapest and the best for me.Have a great season!!

Good Choke

I droped a 19 lb turkey 10 1/2 in beard at 72 yards with this choke in my benelli nova with 3 1/2 number 5 remington nitro turkey load. i'm sold!!
