The Fluke Rig is an Eastern-shore favorite for flounder. The 32", 40-pound rig has a spinner blade, bucktail teaser and a 1/0 nickel-plated hook. Three-way swivel at the top with snap for sinker attachment. Per 5. Colors:(881)White/Silver/Chartreuse,
(037)White/Silver,
(011)White/Red, (029)Chartreuse/Silver.
These rigs are the best. White bucktails consistantly catch big flounder. Only down-side...leader length a bit short. Should be 36-40 inches. Otherwise, great.
Used this rig last week in New Jersey for fluke. It did catch and attracked some nice fluke. Some shorts as well. Only Problem I had was with the Snap swivel. When I went to change to a larger weight sinker the snap was difficult to close. Should try a different type of snap swivel. Other than that nice Rig.
Caught nothing but keeper fluke on this rig, all were over 19 inches. I Used other rigs at the same time, this rig outfished them all. Went out four times with same results!
