The hooks appeared to be exactly what I was looking for. We were Saltwater fishing off a pier Georgia, my 7 year old son hooked a large fish. While fighting the fish all the sudden the fish got off the hook. First thought the fish got unhooked since I bent the barb down. Reeled in the line to find that the knot opened up. Had the same thing happen two more times with these hooks. Very disappointing, especially for my 7 year old.
