The product of their labor is a pack with improved functionality, increased capacity and a revolutionary Response™ AFS suspension delivering optimal weight balance. Independently rotating, waistbelt load-transfer panels automatically register your hip angle and articulate your body’s movements, keeping your center of gravity aligned with your intended direction of movement. Single 7075-T6 aluminum stay integrates with an upper thermo-molded composite load-lifting panel to prevent barreling and provide optimum load transfer. Thermo-molded EVA foam back panel with elastomeric gription technology on the lumbar pad keeps the pack in place and optimizes load transfer onto your hips. Ultrasoft 3-D pre-curved harness and waistbelt promote maximum comfort by eliminating wrinkles and hotspots on main contact areas of the hips and shoulders. LifeSpan EVA foam technology in the harness and waistbelt resists compression and maximizes comfort throughout the life of the pack. Waistbelt load-stabilizer straps control pack pivot as you move through the backcountry, customizing the carry to your terrain. Construction highlights include abrasion-resistant 210-denier double diamond ripstop and 210-denier x 410-denier HD flat-weave fabrics; dual-layer, wear-resistant bottom panel; and durable water-repellent-coated water-resistant zippers. Need a waist pack or sling pack for day trips? Just remove the pack’s top lid. On the underside, it has a stash pocket for personal items. Hydration-compatible sleeve (reservoir not included) and dual side easy-to-feed ports for hose. Quick-draw, easy-to-open drawstring system on main access.
