And if you’re questioning its toughness, know that it has a 3/16"-thick steel shell. Center guard is 2.5" .120 wall tube. Outer guard is 2" .120 wall tube. Topping it off is a mount that can house up to a Warn 12 winch on most models. Dual recessed light pods for 4" diameter lights. Internal mounting brackets and gussets. Includes shackle mounts. On some other websites there were negative comments about supply and delays. I ordered mine and it arrived a little over 3 weeks later within the time frame I expected. The instructions were pretty good but not perfect (and getting the old bumper off was the real chore since the intercooler had to be raised to gain access to the bolts holding the OEM bumper in place). Fitment was almost perfect (but only so slightly off that one would almost never notice). Construction quality appeared first rate as did the finish. I was tempted to paint with polyurethane but decided to go with the stock powder coat. I have had the bumper installed since Nov 2010. My only concern would be the durability of the powdercoat finish. During my first winter (heavy snow so heavy salt/wood ash) I did not wash the truck right away after a snow and I did end up with some subtle permanent markings on the finish. I have also found some very tiny rust spots inside the light wells. I did install a 12,000lb. synthetic winch - the bumper has to be removed to do so and the clearence is very tight so I would find a smaller winch and check with Road Armor prior to installation of a winch. Also, there are no places to secure wiring (for the fog lights and the winch) so you have to be a little creative and make something that works. I would have preferred some pre-drilled holes for gun ties. I love the look. If I were to do it over again, I would have applied a polyurethane coating for improved durability.

Great fit, super tough, saved the front of my new truck from a suicide deer. Have road armor bumpers on two trucks. Great bumpers!

Beautiful bumper, very stout. My issues are with the fit of the bumper irons involving clearance with the headlights. I could not get the bumper low enough to clear the bottom of the headlight housing, Road Armor would not talk to me as Cabela's was their customer not me. Rather than send the bumper back to Cabela's I modified the brackets to gain clearance voiding any guarantee I may have had. Installation required having to install and remove several times to gain clearance and modify as needed to enable headlight bulb replacement without removing the bumper. Luckily I have access to a shop and engine hoist, torch, welder ETC to fit and modify as needed.
Definitely not just a bolt on installation .
