I purchased my bumper last november, didn't get it until February. When I did get it I was thrilled when I unpackaged it. The bumper looked great, until I tried to put it in place. It went into the bumper slots fine, but the holes did not line up, the bumper did not go into the slots all the way, so it is not flush with the front of the truck. So in the fix I had to drill new holes and remodify the front shield piece of the bumper to fit, but still does not line up with the wheel wells. I suppose its better than packaging it back up and sending it back, which would have taken another 3 months to get it back. I should have known better to buy something that has to be made sight unseen.

Great Bumper

If you live in deer country like we do this bumper replacement it for you. It bolts on with no problems and looks great on our Excursion. After numerous repaires for deer and pheasant strikes with the stock bumper we bought this and have loved it. It is very well constructed and is very strong. The powdercoating looks great and has lasted for over 2 years to date with no wear marks or chipping. The front reciever works great for a portable winch. Would highly recommend this for everyone who owns a larger truck or SUV and lives or drives where there are deer or other animals.
