poor instructions & attachment parts

Extra part included in package that were not on Parts List or instructions. Guess you figure out what they are for.
Bolts included to attach bracket to truck are not to be used with GM 2011. You figure this out after frustration and a call to the 800 number. You use the bolts taken out of the truck. But the bolts taken out of the truck do not fit through the bracket provided completely. Included lock and flat washers do not fit over the truck bolts. Help desk suggests you ream the bracket holes to size. Most of the problem could be fixed with better instructions, correct Parts List and properly sized washers for type of truck. OR just avoid all of the above problems.

Poor instructions

bought this for my 08 crew cab silverado. The instructions had more information on waxing them after installation than installation instructions. All of the mounting brackets were stamped for the right side so it took a while to figure out what went where. other than that it was an easy install(if you have an impact gun, which I have) otherwise you'll be there a while. I would give 5 stars if the instructions weren't so poor and the brackets weren't marked for the right side. (there is a difference!)

I bought these nerf bars thinking that DEE ZEE was a good company. Nothing lined up, the holes had to be drilled, they are very flimsey unless you weigh 100 pounds. I had to weld a brace on the plates to support them. PURE JUNK
