I have had this set-up on my truck for over a year. It is inconvient in the fact that you need to keep the hitch on to use the light. But I have found it useful enough to keep on year round. The casing is light plastic and I managed to bust one of the lights and casing. Actually my fault, not the product. So not a bad deal for the money. Will order another.

Neater than most lights of this nature. Good lighting. Easy to install. Durability is an open question since it is made from light plastic. Time will tell. Easy installation.

Not what I expected.

If I had known that the light was not designed to be attached to the reciever, I would probably not have purchased it. It does work very well when the hitch is installed, but I do not leave the ball on when not towing. If the ball is not on, the light is not on. As far as ease to wire & install, 15 minutes max. should be all it takes if you have any mechanical skills.
Before recomending this to anyone, I would be sure they understood this was not attached to the reciever.

Works as advertised. It is nice to have options on power for the light. I used the tail lamp lead on a four wire trailer plug.
